Mission Statement
The Urban Recovery is an organization designed to elevate the cultural awareness in the urban community through interactive and comprehensive outreach programs. Our goal is to preserve the fundamentals of urban culture while simultaneously utilizing art and entertainment as a platform to bridge severe communication gaps among diverse people of color and introduce innovative projects that serve the underserved citizens of our community.
What We Do
The Urban Recovery Group is dedicated to cultivating a thriving urban community by implementing traditional and non-traditional methods to ensure successful and effective
programs and projects that will uplift the spiritual, physical, psychological, social and financial mindsets of the poor and underprivileged. Diligently using the creativity of arts and entertainment as a primary tool, we will attempt to reconstruct the urban community by addressing prevalent issues concerning disparities in education, health, wellbeing, nutrition, housing, employment, business development, crisis prevention, substance abuse, youth empowerment as well as prison reform and the justice system.
